        The goal Learning about different types of language records, acquiring complex analyzing techniques; relating these to other disciplines.
        The outcome Learning about the methods od diachronic linguistic analysis, acquiring techniques of textual analysis. Autonomous, complex analysis of a chosen written record (or a part of it).
        Contents
        Contents of lectures Complex analysis of written records of the early age. Toponyms and personal names. Parallel textual analysis in codexes. Analysis of the narrative tone in the poem Siege of Szabács. Benedicts from Bagonya: ethnographic relations. Medieval letters. Hungarian Bible translators. The Medical Book of György Lencsés around 1577. Effects of the development of printing.
        Contents of exercises Morphological and complex analysis of details of the above mentioned language records.
