| The outcome | Upon course completion, students will be able to analyse macro- and micro-structural characteristics of common types of official documents, determine the purpose of their translation, choose an adequate translation strategy and translate an official document from English into Serbian. | |||

Relevance of information. Official translator as a jurilinguist: translation procedures, legal norms, ethical norms, tradition and customs. Signature and stamp, translation contract, invoice, brief. Translator’s visibility. Standards for translation agencies. | |||
