The Faculty of Philosophy hosted H.E. Osvaldo Mársico, Ambassador of Argentina, and Attaché Andrés Zampatti on 6 May 2026. Ambassador Mársico spoke about the cultural particularities of Argentina – from tango to football – while his deputy introduced students, professors, and associates of the Faculty of Philosophy to the ritual of preparing mate, the traditional beverage made from the plant of the same name.
The Argentine mateada was organised by the Ibero-American Centre CIBAM (2020) and the Department of Italian and Ibero-American Studies (2022), which have continuously cooperated with the Embassy of Argentina in Belgrade since their establishment.
