    The goal Students will get familiarised with the most important features, theoretical ideas, movements, works and authors of poetry written in English since 1950s and into the 21st century
    The outcome Students will be able to better understand contemporary literature and culture of the English-speaking world

British modernist and postmodernist archetypal tradition: Ted Hughes. UK's poet laureates: Ted Hughes, Carol Ann Duffy. Contemporary Canadian poetry: Anne Carson.
