    The goal Teaching students about different theoretical and practical aspects of ELT and foreign language learning/acquisition, with special emphasis on new ideas and approaches. Providing students with competences that will allow them cricitally evaluate the teaching process, which will provide a basis for their further professional development.
    The outcome Students are fully competent to actively work in the educational system, they are familiar with modern ELT tendencies and capable of future professional development.

    Contents of lectures Basic characteristics of students' personality. Memory processes. Different learning styles and strategies - situational context, variablitiy. Roles of the teacher. Course design and adaptation of teaching material. Assessing teaching material. Mixed ability classes. Integrated language skills. Integrating cultural content. ICT in ELT.
    Contents of exercises Managing classroom dynamics. Discipline problems. Planning teaching. Assessing course material. Teaching skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing. ICT in ELT.
