Personal Data Processing for Employees

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING NOTICE

Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 87/2018), and related to with the collection of personal data during the procedures of election and employment of teachers, associates, and other employees of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, I hereby give the following notice regarding the processing of personal data:

1) Data manager information:

2) Purpose of data collection and processing
The purpose of processing the data used by the higher education institution for keeping records is to monitor and improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the higher education institution and its employees, as well as planing and monitoring the implementation of the Faculty's employment policy, and planning funding.

The collection of personal data processed by the Faculty is recorded in the Faculty database.

3) On using the data
The Faculty collects personal data directly from the data subject and processes the subject data on the basis of their written consent.

4) Data in employee records

The data on employees on which the Faculty of Philosophy keeps records in the Faculty Information System is a set of personal data that determines the employee's identity, degree and type of education, employment status, salary and data for its calculation and payment, professional development, movement in service.
The data on employees include: name, surname, name of one parent, gender, unique identification number, read ID of the employee, citizenship, passport number for foreign nationals, date and place of birth, country of permanent residence, address of residence, gender, nationality in in accordance with the law, official contact telephone and e-mail address, level of education, year, country, place and institution where the highest level of education was obtained, current teaching or scientific title, type of employment contract, percentage of employment in the institution, previous employment record with other employers, job position, job complexity ratio, bank account number for payment.

4) Personal data processors
Personal data are processed by the following employees:

1. General and Legal Affairs Office: Snežana Rovčanin, Mirjana Galonja and Mirjana Alanović;
2. Financial and Material Affairs Office: Miroslav Radeka, Slavko Đerić, Milica Puhača, Milena Čalija, and Danijela Bujdošo.

5) Legal basis for data collection and processing
The legal basis for collecting and processing personal data is the written consent of the data subject, which is given when applying for admission or enrolling in the next year of study.

6) Revocation of consent for data processing and legal consequences of revocation
Any person whose personal data is processed by the Faculty is entitled to revoke the previously given consent for processing in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

7) Rights belonging to the person in case of unauthorized processing
In the case of unauthorized data processing, the person shall be entitled to all rights under the Law on Protection of Personal Data, the enforcement of which is supervised by the Commissioner for access to information of public importance and protection of personal data.
